I don??t think you get an anwser in 2minutes ...

and what you get? ...

from a bow I would guess wood ... and bowstring etc?

well, I got a purple item that when I identified it said I would get something from it simply ... =)

Say you pick up a "Fiery Long Bow". If you salvage it with Expert Salvage Kit you will most likely get a Fiery bow string. If you salvage a "Long Bow of Fortitude" you will most liely get a bow grip of fortitude. If you salvage "Fiery Long Bow of Fortitude" you will get either one of the upgrades NOT both. Right, in the beginning, when the box pops up telling you you've unlocked something, that usually means that the item you just identified contains that thing. You're best off using an expert salvage kit to try to salvage the upgrades.

And as for what you do with the stuff... well, you use things like bowstrings and bow grips to upgrade other bows you have... and you use materials like wood and such to make stuff at a crafter's.

Remember though - if you want to salvage a mod off an item you need to use a Expert (or Superior) Salvage kit. A normal salvage kit will only ever give you crafting materials.

yeah, and sometimes you just get the wood, or iron, and not the mod.
